The past few weeks have been anything but ordinary. Each change is unexpected, each new announcement unprecedented. As we share today’s post, we can’t help but reflect on how much has changed since our last blog post. But one thing that has stayed the same for us at Rookwood Commons and Pavilion is our commitment to our local community. Whether that is closing our shop doors to keep our community safe and help “flatten the curve” or coming up with creative ways to still get you all the things you love, we’re here for you. Do you know all the ways you can still connect with the Rookwood community? Our favorite way is with a good Rookwood-made meal:
Whether by Delivery…
Donato’s Pizza has always been our top carry-out pizza choice. And (thankfully) they’re not letting anything stop their delivery services. This Ohio-original pizzeria is taking extra precautions with their newly launched “low-contact” delivery option. Visit their website to place your online “low contact” delivery order. There, you’ll complete your payment online – and add your tip if you are able to – to eliminate any cash money or credit card exchange. Even the delivery itself is kept at a safe distance. In fact, you’ll be notified when your Donato’s delivery arrives, which will be waiting for you at your front door left by your gloved driver. Something tells us we’ll be regulars here, without ever leaving our homes.
But food delivery doesn’t stop with pizza. Thanks to delivery services like UberEats, you can get your favorite Rookwood menu items delivered right to your doorstep, including made-to-order Qdoba, BJ’s Brewhouse, and P.F. Chang’s.
Or by pickup…
Foodies that are really missing a nice dinner out will love the new curbside pickup offering from J. Alexander’s Redlands Grill. And while we miss the ambiance of this steakhouse, we have a feeling you’ll love their expanded menu. Not only can you order your favorite prepared dishes online, you can bring Redlands to your kitchen with their “cook at home” selection of hand-cut steaks and sides. They even have wine bottles available for pickup. Click here to see their complete carry-out menu. Date night just got cozier.
Not only can you take home your go-to menu items from Rookwood restaurants, you can be one of five lucky people to win a $100 shopping spree as soon as your favorite retailers open their doors again. All you have to do is share a picture of your favorite things in your home that have come from Rookwood. Whether it’s something from Sur La Table in your kitchen, in your closet from TJ Maxx, or in your makeshift home gym from Athleta – we’d love to see your bit of Rookwood in your home. We miss seeing you all in our shops and restaurants each day, but we are still feeling the love. We have been blown away by the amount of support coming from our community, even from afar. “Thank you” doesn’t even begin to explain the gratitude we feel for each of you. We are so grateful for your ongoing support and helping us keep our community connected even in this socially distant time. Every visit to Rookwood Commons & Pavilion fuels our community so we can continue to serve you well after this virus has passed. If you’re looking for another way to support our community, consider purchasing a gift card from Mitchell’s Salon and Day Spa and Pump Salon here. 20% of all gift card purchases will go directly to staff.
Thank you, Cincinnati. And stay well!
